If the code is attempting to act in a way that is malicious, the transfer is stopped, and a signature is created for it. The new signature is then fed back into Secure Computing's Trusted Source global intelligence network that is used by all Webwashers to protect against zero day threats.

• Control the types of file that users can download. - You can for example set up the system so that the only department able to download executable files is IT, and then only from known computing sites.

• Protect against malicious sites using web reputation filtering. - The greatest threat to your security comes from users clicking through to malicious web sites either from URL's contained in spam messages or "good" sites that have been compromised. Secure Computing's Trusted Source Global Intelligence Network monitors URL's in spam emails circulating on the Internet as well as URL's reported by other Webwashers as containing malicious code.
